Manly is a great balance between quality bars and a fun adventure - pretty much every bar in Manly is nice, and most of us get the bonus of the ferry ride over there (if you count that as an inconvenience you're wrong - the Manly Ferry is a Sydney icon). They all have great vibes, and on a sunny day there is very little that's more satisfying than drinking a beer while looking out over the water. For that, and their love of craft beer, Manly is one of our favourite areas. Specifically, the Manly Wharf Hotel (pictured) is right on the wharf, has huge amounts of seating and a great selection of taps. The New Brighton Hotel is also worth mentioning - it's got a great airy vibe with good craft beer and cocktail options, as well as the option to change the tone of the night by changing level. Feel like dancing? It's got you covered. Feel like grabbing a cider and looking over the water while chatting with friends? You can do that too. The final special mention goes to Hotel Steyne. Right next to the New Brighton, it's the largest bar we've ever seen, containing something like seven bars inside it. You'll find something you want there, and their cider/craft beer bar (Moonshine) has a bit of a prohibition era vibe to it which you know we love.
