The Chancer Golden Ale
For me, this is the quintessential afternoon beer. It’s a lazy Saturday and you don’t really have anywhere to be. You split a case with a bunch of friends and, after deciding that 1:30pm is an appropriate time, crack open your first one. It’s refreshing, drinkable, and tastes like the sunset you decide to watch once sufficiently buzzed.
Young Henry’s Real Ale
This was one of the first beers I tasted as a SydneyOnTap member and we instantly made a connection. It is beautiful and brown like a newborn pup but tastes more or less like a very good beer. Mostly, however, it tastes of…acceptance.
Kosciuszko Pale Ale
With its alluring and passionfruity taste, Kosciuszko is as grand as its mountainous namesake. Best enjoyed as a jug shared amongst close friends in a familiar yet dimly lit pub, this nectar goes down as smooth as the gently merry conversation it spawns.
